On Sunday, August 30th, the international GFNY Bremen will take place in Bremen and the surrounding area from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The 97 km amateur cycling race will be contested by 2,000 participants from the local area, Bremen, Germany, and around the world.
Important information
- Roads will be reopened in sections after the field of participants has passed through. There will be no full-day closure.
- Locks allow the race track to be crossed at designated points as soon as it is safe to do so. The emergency services on site coordinate traffic.
- Emergency vehicles have priority at all times.
- Please plan trips outside of the times listed if possible.

In the weeks leading up to the event, a staff member will be traveling along the route to personally inform residents, businesses, and farms and answer their questions.
